Prices

Don’t get stung

Our prices are very competitive and we have a set price that does not vary in accordance to size and difficulty of the nest to be removed. We usually treat the nest in the early evening when most of the wasps are in the nest, this is convenient if you work during the daytime. We are available at weekends and evenings on the mobile Call me at 07976 268450

As well as being highly competitive with our pricing structure, we offer a service that provides excellent value for money and a guaranteed service. If we need to, we will revisit and retreat the nest free of charge. (See below for details)

Callout and one nest treatment £68
Callout and 2 nest treatments £88
Callout and 3 nest treatments £108 at the same premises

Help – My nest has returned!

The most common complaint we hear about wasp nests is that the wasps have moved from the area we treated to the other side of the house. It is impossible for wasp nests to move. The wasp nests were already there, but one of them is often much smaller, usually because the larger nest dominates the other, killing workers, so the wasp population in the second nest is small compared to the first.

With the main nest killed off and the customer knowing what to look for (the coming and going of worker wasps in and out the entrance), the second nest appears as the main nest is now dead. After that, we receive a phone call.

The reason that wasp nests cannot move is simple. The nest is started in April and anchored to the area it is built on or around, whether it be a tree, cavity wall or loft space. So a nest cannot ‘start in June, July, August but only in April and May or in rare cases March.

We can understand how frustrated customers are when they pay to have a wasp nest treated and then discover that they thought the wasp nest had been moved. Many people have never or rarely encountered a wasp nest in their lives. So having two for a short period of time seems unlikely, but it’s relatively common for us. We want happy customers, but we can’t afford not to charge. We will offer a discounted rate of £40 in this instance.
